Located in the historic converted Treasury Building on Palmyra Square, in the heart of Warrington, Cheshire.

On our extensive menu you will find seasonally influenced tapas dishes, combining classic & contemporary Spanish flavours & techniques, using the finest ingredients Spain has to offer, along with quality local produce. To complement our menu, Head Chef Adam Smith and his team of skilled chefs create a fresh selection of special 'small plates' every month, inspired by traditional methods, modern techniques & premium ingredients of the season

Join us in the tapas bar for drinks, and snack like a Spaniard. Enjoy freshly shucked oysters with our superior Spanish Cava, or a Chacuteria selection of Serrano & hand-carved acorn fed Iberico Ham, or try Manchego Cheese served with Spanish Quince Jam; with over 50 tapas to choose from, you'll be spoilt for choice!

Fancy making a meal of it? Reserve a table for a great dining experience. Bookings not always necessary, but always appreciated. We have large party tables, intimate restaurant dining, or join us at our Chefs Table and enjoy the theatre of our open kitchen.

Aleksander

General Manager

After a successful career as a chef from the age of 17, working in prestigious kitchens across Europe including, The Marriot Hotel in London, and Harvey Nichols in Manchester, Alek joined the company as Head Chef at The Grill on the Square. After mastering the kitchen, the front of house became appealing. With his energetic personality and passion for quality, Alek was appointed Bar Manager at The Grill on the Square. With a wealth of knowledge and hands on experience from all aspects of the industry, Alek was the first choice to head The Grill on the Square's sister venture, Las Ramblas Wine & Tapas.

Assistant General Manager

After completing a Degree in Marketing & Management, Tomasz was attracted by America to experience the fast paced hospitality industry of New York City. He then moved to Connecticut where he spent 6 successful years working in an esteemed restaurant, before returning to Europe with a wealth of customer service knowledge & expertise.

Meet Leo, our Restaurant Supervisor. After achieving a technical qualification in gastronomy, and 14 years experience in the hospitality industry, we were very pleased have Leo bring his skilled & charismatic service style to the Las Ramblas Wine & Tapas team in 2015.

Bar Manager

Richard has a zest for providing great customer service, bringing a enthusiastic energy to the bar. His lively personality is expressed through his love of music & DJing. Richard has an extensive knowledge of wines, beers & particularly spirits, which he and his team use to create new enticing cocktail specials each month.

Sous Chef

Jamie has been a chef for 6 years, working in various Michelin star & AA Rosette awarded restaurants. His particular passion is tapas style cooking, where diners can enjoy a variety of 'small plate' dishes packed with flavour, similar to a tasting menu. Jamie has a keen interest in sourcing quality local produce that he combines with authentic Spanish flavours to create new seasonally inspired tapas.

Charcuteria

Matt has had a passion for cooking from a young age from his Grandma who is also a chef. He particularly enjoys the creativity of designing & crafting new exciting dishes. His artistic flair is also expressed through his enthusiasm for painting. After successfully completing a degree in Biomedical Science, Matt returned to cooking, deciding that the creative field was his forte.

Head Chef

From growing up in Italy, Peppe has an instinctive love of Mediterranean cuisine & authentic cooking. He enjoys combining traditional methods with modern techniques to create new inspired tapas. Peppe has been a chef for 15 years working in various locations across Europe, including Rome & Munich, experiencing a wealth of international cooking styles and skills.
